Before and after photos

A good surgical outcome depends on many different factors. Fundamentally, we are all biologically unique; this means that no patient will resemble any other in either the healing process or the final post-surgical results. The end result is largely based on what each patient brings to the table in terms of factors such as age, skin quality, skin elasticity, dietary habits, smoking, prior surgeries.

We have tried to present the surgical outcome as objectively as possible by taking the "before and after" photos of our patients under equivalent lighting conditions and from the same angle. The "after" photo is generally taken six months after the procedure, which means that the scars, if any, usually have not yet faded. For the same reason, our patients do not wear cosmetics, or improve the appearance of the "after" photos in any other way.

Dr. Randquist carried out the surgical procedures for all patients shown in the "before and after" photos.
