Plastic surgery and procedures
Any surgical procedure has advantages and disadvantages, and every problem has more than one solution – especially in plastic surgery. There are, however, more established scientific principles for how surgeons should operate and care for their patients. It is therefore important to clearly present the different options available to enable you to make the best decision for your situation.
The outcome
A good surgical outcome depends on many different factors. Fundamentally, we are all biologically unique; this means that no patient will resemble any other in either the healing process or the final post-surgical results. The end result is largely based on what each patient brings to the table in terms of factors such as age, skin quality, skin elasticity, dietary habits, smoking, prior surgeries.

Another factor, naturally, is the surgeon’s skill. Choosing an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon who is a member of the Swedish Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is a good start for achieving an excellent surgical outcome.
If you have confidence in your plastic surgeon, receive correct information, and have realistic expectations after the consultation, your prospects of achieving a successful surgical outcome and of being satisfied are excellent.
