Hair Transplantation with DHI

DHI (Direct Hair Transplant) is one of the most advanced hair transplantation techniques available today. It is known for its high level of precision and its ability to create denser, more natural-looking results compared with traditional methods such as FUE or FUT.

Using DHI’s precise method, we at the Victoria Clinic in Stockholm can offer a gentle treatment that causes minimal discomfort, results in a shorter recovery time, and delivers natural-looking results.

All surgical procedures carry risks. Results vary from person to person. During your consultation, you will receive complete information about the treatment and any potential risks. Read more.

Dr. Isabelle Randquist

Physician in Charge – Hair Transplantation (DHI)

At the Victoria Clinic, our hair transplants are led by Dr. Isabelle Randquist, who is the medical director for all treatments using the DHI technique.

With a strong focus on precision, aesthetics, and long-term sustainability, she ensures that each treatment is planned individually—taking into account facial shape, hair quality, and future hair growth.

Why It’s Important to Have a Physician in Charge of Medical Care

A hair transplant is not a quick cosmetic procedure—it is a surgical procedure.

Having a licensed and experienced physician is crucial for both safety and aesthetic results.

Possible complications

Itching or dry skin

Itching and dry skin may occur during the first few days after the procedure, which is normal and part of the healing process. If you experience discomfort, you can wash the area again or use a cool, natural saline solution.

Numbness

Numbness is common due to temporary effects on the superficial skin nerves.

    Swelling

Swelling may occur, usually between days two and five, around the eyes and nose. This is normal and will go away after a few days. You can relieve the swelling by gently massaging your forehead from the center toward the temples.

Are you looking for an alternative to a hair transplant?

If you’re not ready for a hair transplant but still want to stimulate hair growth and improve your hair health, PRP treatment for hair may be a good option.

PRP uses growth factors from your own blood to strengthen and revitalize your hair follicles, which can result in fuller, healthier hair without surgery.

Cost of a hair transplant using the DHI technique in Stockholm

We have chosen not to have a fixed price list, as each patient is unique and has unique circumstances. In addition to the cost of the surgery itself, our price includes local anesthesia, medications, follow-up visits, and supplies for post-operative care.

For the most part, all prices are shown including VAT, since all procedures and treatments—except those performed for medical reasons—have been subject to VAT since the turn of the year 2014/2015. In cases where the price is listed excluding VAT, it is because these procedures are always performed on medical grounds. (The price below includes sales tax)
