At Victoriakliniken, two techniques are used when we operate on noses: open or closed. The choice depends on the desired change, skin quality, and the surgeon’s assessment. Open rhinoplasty is most often used for the best control during the operation. It is performed under anesthesia, and you can go home the same day.

Follow-up visits usually take place within a week after you have had nose surgery, together with your plastic surgeon at the clinic. After nose surgery, you should expect some swelling and discoloration around the eyes.
