On July 6th and 7th, 2024, Victoriakliniken participated in the World Congress on Hair Loss – Academy Masters Meeting, held in Athens and Lavrion. With the theme “Hair is Energy,” this event brought together leading experts and DHI partners from around the globe to showcase the latest innovations in hair loss treatments, including hair transplantation. Is a hair transplant painful?

When can I return to work?
You can generally return to work the day after a hair transplant. However, some people choose to take a few days off to rest and allow any mild redness or swelling to subside.

Do I have to shave my entire head?
No, only the donor area is usually shaved. For smaller hair transplants, especially for women, it may even be possible to avoid shaving altogether. Your doctor will advise on the best approach for your specific needs.
