Victoriakliniken strengthens its surgical team by welcoming Dr. Stina Rittri, a specialist physician in plastic surgery with a solid academic background and a clear focus on quality, safety, and long-term results in breast surgery and reconstructive plastic surgery.
Dr. Stina Rittri earned her medical degree at Umeå University in 2015 and defended her doctoral dissertation the same year. Her specialist training in plastic surgery was completed at a university hospital in Stockholm and concluded in 2023. Since then, she has worked as a specialist physician with a clinical focus on breast reconstructions, gender-affirming breast surgery, ear reconstructions, advanced microsurgical reconstructions, and post-massive weight loss surgery.
Dr. Rittri’s areas of responsibility specifically include post-bariatric surgery, breast reconstruction, and ear reconstructions – areas that place high demands on surgical precision, careful planning, and medical safety.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr. Stina Rittri conducts research in breast plastic surgery, ear reconstruction, and microsurgery at Karolinska Institutet. She is a member of the Swedish Medical Association, the Swedish Society of Plastic Surgery, and the Swedish Society for Microsurgery, and is part of the steering group for the Swedish Breast Implant Registry (BRIMP) and serves as a board member in the Swedish Society for Microsurgery.
